Dr Maruf Hossain, PhD is a pioneering AI and data science leader in Australia, renowned for delivering tangible business value across diverse organisations—from start-ups to large enterprises, consulting firms, and government agencies. With a robust quantitative foundation, Dr Hossain holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Melbourne, a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Deakin University, and an Honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Dhaka.

Most recently Vice President of Data Science & AI at ANZ Bank, Dr Hossain has also held key positions such as Head of Data Science at Credit Clear and Chief Data Scientist for Telstra Global Enterprise and Services at Infosys Consulting.
